Using Your Micro Video Camera For Recreational Purposes

Your micro video camera can be used for recreational purposes, too! Just because it is used for monitoring nannies and employees, cheating husbands and erring children, cops and robbers, does not necessarily mean that it cannot be used for good, clean fun, too! Here is how.

Remote Controlled Toys

If you attach a micro video camera to a remote controlled toy, you will get a feeling akin to playing a racing video game. The only visible difference is that instead of virtual landscapes, you will be navigating real terrain.

You can attach a micro video camera to the nose of your toy helicopter or plane and watch your neighborhood park and your yard from a totally different perspective! You can control the toy to zoom around the neighborhood just so you can get to know the layout more. Just be very careful that you do not exceed the limits on objective expectation of privacy and other laws lest you find yourself in a totally different neighborhood, otherwise known as the jailhouse.

As to your toy car, you can also attach the micro video camera inside it. Watch how grass looks from an ant's point of view, almost like being in the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" movie! You never know when you can use the footage for your very own "shrinking" home movie, right?

You should look for a camera that can be plugged into the receiver as power source or a camera that can be used with a Y splitter. The idea is that your tiny camera will operate on the same battery as that of the toy vehicle.

Practical Jokes

If you are a fan of gag shows like "Candid Camera", a micro video camera is the right tool to get you started on a career as a practical joker. Just remember that your practical jokes must never endanger the lives of the targets; go easy on scare jokes for old people, weights falling down on heads, and other potentially fatal pranks.

You can position the hidden camera in a strategic place - opposite the doorway when the joke involves door pranks like stacking up books to block the entryway, up above the ceiling for better coverage, inside the bathroom for monsters-popping-up-on-the-toilet-seat pranks, and other places you deem good for capturing the action. Again, be mindful of privacy issues.

Voyeuristic Tendencies

This is an extreme in recreational purposes for a micro video camera. You are endangering your freedom in exchange for satisfying your sexual kicks. Then again, America has always been about "each to his own", right?

There a few things you need to remember on voyeurism. You are invading the privacy of the individuals you are videotaping without their consent. As such, you can be prosecuted and jailed for violating the laws. You might be able to hide pinhole cameras to become a high-tech peeping Tom but only under the cloud of a felony (and more than 12 years of prison time for some crimes) hanging over your head.

Is it not better to play with toys and jokes than with privacy issues? The next time you think of using your pinhole cameras for recreation, try to stay within the confines of decency and of the law.

Who says your pinhole nanny camera, especially the wireless nanny camera, can only be used for altruistic purposes? Use your micro video camera to have fun, too, and visit Video-Surveillance-Guide.com today!

Nintendo Wii Downloads - What's the Best Way to Go About It?

For anyone that has played the Nintendo Wii you know how addicting it can be and if you haven't tried the system try it and you will understand. The problem with addictions is that they are normally pretty expensive and this one is no different....well that was before the idea of Wii game downloads (okay I admit downloading games is not new but the Wii is new so that is why I call it a new idea). After the solution of the expense of Wii ownership came along it was followed by the "Internet" age old question how can I do it safely and legally. For anyone that has been on the Internet for a few years you know the problems that have plagued it concerning downloading files from the net, and downloading Wii games is just another type of file.

A good site to download Wii games from will be a site that offers solutions to these problems. A great site offers to solutions to these problems plus an easy-to-use interface, great customer support, a huge selection of games, and a guide to using the service.

Most reputable Wii game downloads sites are around $40-50 dollars, the cost of just one game, for a lifetime membership so price isn't really going to play a factor picking between one or another. Also all of the services offer music, movies, and TV shows along with games that you can download so that also really isn't a big consideration or selling point of one over the other, but it is still a definite plus for all of them.

Anyone that has used the internet to download something knows how easy it is to get someone messing with your computer planting a virus or stealing some sort of private information and in today's world the problem is even bigger and more real then it was a few years ago. Anytime you download something you are opening yourself up for someone to maliciously attack your computer so you have to always know what you are downloading and where it is coming from. The problem with old peer-to-peer services was that you left yourself open to everyone because you had to lower all of your defenses to share files. Thankfully that problem can be solved by using a service that isn't an old school P2P sharing site and also does not have ads or spyware built into the service.

The other problem with old fashion P2P sites is that now they are illegal so you have to now make sure that you are downloading from a site where you aren't breaking the law. This is obviously something that any reputable service is going to have to provide but it still needs to be said that you have to make sure that wherever you download something you are doing it in a legal way. As long as you make sure whatever service you are using falls within these boundaries you will have made a wise choice for yourself and your game playing needs.

Hello my name is Steven Tikas and I write about different topics that interest me and games are something that I have been passionate about since as far back as I could remember. I am also someone that loves to save money where I can so I'm trying to educate people on ways they can play games along with saving money. Information Technology Has Come A Very Long Way

Where does the history of IT begin? Well, in order to answer this question, one must first understand the basic concept of information technology as a whole.

In its most basic form, information technology aims to help communication between computers. This form of technology can be completed via input, processing, output, and various other communication types. Essentially, the history of IT can be split into four periods: premechanical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic. Before we delve into each category, remember that the key word here is "communication."

Prior to any form of mechanics, the very first humans sought to communicate through very simplistic sketches that we now call "petroglyths." For the most part, these drawings were in the form of pictures, and often they depicted daily life. Around the year 3100 B.C. the Sumerians came up with the cuneiform language, and this became the very first type of written language. After the Sumerians, along came the Egyptians with their papyrus plants, and they took communication to a whole new level when they began to use a form of the modern pen with papyrus as a type of paper.

Now, let's skip ahead to the Mechanical Age (1450-1840). Johann Gutenberg invented the first sort of movable metal-type in 1450. After this machine was invented, books began to pop up and the concept of a computer was born. Once this was conceived, there was no stopping civilization and around the end of the 18th century, telecommunication really began to grow stronger. Beginning with the Voltaic Battery and ending with the telephone and the radio, communication was really on a role. Once the computer was invented (many years later), the history of IT took an entirely different sort of path.

Today, almost everyone has some sort of involvement with a computer, though those people that work in the information technology field can often work many different jobs. Humans have always found a way to effectively communicate (as we have seen), which makes this type of technology one of the oldest trades on the face of the earth.

From the time of the cavemen drawing crude pictures on the sides of walls, to our modern computer obsessed world, the history of IT has come a long way. Even though some believe that the Internet has really outdone all other forms of communication that the world has ever seen, just remember that the Internet was a mere though once upon a time.
