Many word games such as Scrabble are designed for two to four players seated around a board, that in many cases is designed, with making words as its main objective, Scrabble in particular has a number of blank spaces to hold lettered tiles. Some of the spaces on the board have special colors and markings, which can grant extra points to the player who first lays a tile on one of these spaces. The game begins by each player drawing seven different tiles out of the cloth bag to form their base of letters. With these seven letters, you will form the words, which will score you points on the game board. The player who goes first starts by laying down their first word on the board, using the exact center space of the board, which is generally marked with a star. This player will then score points based on the numerical values on each lettered tile along with any specially colored spaces on the game board, which denote extra points opportunities. At the end of a turn, the player will then pick new tiles out of the bag to return their number of tiles to seven.

Play then passes to the next player and you continue this routine, playing tiles and scoring points, with the simple exception that any new tiles placed on the board must be connected to a word already set, branching off one of the letters of that word much like a crossword puzzle. The game play will continue in this way, placing tiles and replacing letter tiles, until the cloth bag is empty. At this point, all players are stuck with the tiles left in their hand and the game continues until one player has successfully used all of the tiles in their hand.

At this point, the game is considered over and you will tally up all of the points in each player's hand. Any tiles left in the hand of any players will be subtracted from their Super Nintendo Strategy Guides score and added to the score of the player to first use all of their tiles. Once you calculate the final scores of all players, the winner is declared. As is demonstrated, the winner is not the first person to simply use all of their tiles, although this can provide a great advantage. The player who chose the best tiles and who figured out the best way to use them on the board is the one who wins, giving you the chance to determine your own fate in this exciting game.

The public knows Scrabble as one of the most intellectual but still fun games available today. If you were looking for a stimulating challenge that doesn't take too much effort to learn, Scrabble would be a great place to begin. Good for children and adults alike, Scrabble can give you the mental boost that you are looking for. Another great word game played in the same vein is Upwords, where you will find that it also uses tiles that you must make words, with a few differences. Activision Loses Its Identity

It's funny how gaming has changed so Popular Video Games just in the last few years alone. It's no longer Sega Dreamcast Adapters and Cables niche market, or an "obscure" hobby. Video games have come out of the darkened arcades and primarily male-driven audiences, to embrace every kind of demographic Xbox Game Controllers and many titles have budgets that rival the biggest of the Hollywood movies.

There's not much left of the "Atari Age" of yesteryear. Atari survives, but is more of a logo these days as it just replaced the InfoGrames label. Activision, Atari's first third-party company, has been one of the few publishers to survive the "Great Video Game Crash of 1983", and has evolved to meet the changing and maturing industry.

Activision was led by a team of talented programmers (David Crane, Alan White, Steve Cartwright, Robert Whitehead, Larry Kaplan, and others) that played things differently. The programmers allowed consumers to see who created their favorite games, placing the art alongside the artist. There were a slew of titles that the company came to be associated with for console and computer: Pitfall!, Kaboom!, Freeway, Robot Tank, and one of their first licensed properties for the computer age, Ghostbusters.

Although the "Crash" happened, nearly wiping gaming completely out of the collective minds of the average consumer, Activision survived with a stable of PC titles, and a gradual return to console gaming. The company again became known for it's titles such as the Tony Hawk series and Spider-Man. Even more recently, Activision has acquired the Guitar Hero franchise, continuing to become bigger and bigger, until recently acquiring the immensely popular adventure/RPG publisher Blizzard.

That seems to be more and more the trend these days. Publishers continue to eat up smaller companies, forming a mass collective similar to the Borg from Star Trek. EA has been doing this for years. But there's a genuine downside to these assimilations....

The companies that are swallowed up lose their identities.

Included with Blizzard are the companies Vivendi and Sierra. There were several titles planned to be released under the Sierra brand that have been now left "homeless" due to this acquisition: Brutal Legend, and Sierra.

It's surprising that Activision doesn't want anything to do with Ghostbusters. After all, they published a number of titles based on the series all through the 1980's into the early 1990's. The Ghostbusters game itself wasn't some flash in the pan title, either. It was written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, who created the series, and is backed by the voice talents of Akroyd, Ramis, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, as well as several other notable cast members from the movies. Again, Hollywood has come to the video game arena, where digital likenesses can keep actors young and fresh and busting ghosts for quite some time.

As an added insult to injury to the movie and game's fanbase, Activison opted to keep titles such as Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, which neither has maintained the relevancy of a Mario or Sonic title, and the film series Ice Age, whose apparent popularity is beyond this writer's grasp. Ghostbusters video gaming is fairly synonymous with the Activision brand, and their total rejection to Sega Dreamcast Memory the title is similar to Capcom not having interest in releasing a new Street Fighter title, or Konami not wanting to publish another Metal Gear.

It's a genuine shame to see Activision lack any sense of interest in a franchise that has been prominently connected to them in their past history. While gaming is a business and the bottom line for companies is ultimately the financial bottom line, there's also a necessity to recognize and respond to basic "fan service", especially with a title that has generated a lot of positive press over the last year.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game will eventually be published, as the fading Sierra maintains that the title is coming out, and there are certainly multiple publishers out there who recognize the sales this title will produce. Wherever the title goes, the fan's money will follow. Money that Activision could have tucked into their wallets.

Activision was once a company name known for shaking up the industry, and letting their titles speak for themselves by recognizing the fans and the people who created the games. Now the company resembles the classic science fiction movie "The Blob", absorbing anything in its path and growing to a monstrous size without regard for anything else.

This "Blob" known as Activision is just a name now. There's not much personality in there anymore, and the message is simply money, not the consumer base that built it to what is.

Rohan Online Elf Templar Class Build (Pure PvE/Pure PvP)

This is an awesome build for PC Video Games Elf Templar, great at PvE and great at PvP. Templars are in a sense battle priests. They are extremely difficult to kill in PvP and PvE making it PC Video Games to solo and great in parties.

Stat Build: This builds points are mostly distributed in Psyche but has some points in intelligence too. The main reason I put points into intelligence is to get the most out of the Hammer based attacks and the DoT's (Poison). This also leaves room to add skill points to some of the intelligence/psyche based healing and attack spells. I suggest if you get enough skill stones from cash shop or finding them from mobs you shoudl put them in Mental Barrier or Party Absorb HP, and Absorb HP.

PvE: You have access to Magic Barrier and MP barrier making you impenetrable and nearly impossible to kill. With these skills in How to Build a Boat arsenal you will be able to take on multiple mobs at the same time and destroying then quickly without seeing your HP bar ever go down. Doing your quests and solo grinding is a breeze, your only problem is that you might get bored lol. This build allows you to be able to tank some smaller bosses and not feel much pain. However larger bosses that have alot of HP and do alot of damage it might not be a good idea to tank since you have very low hp. This build even allows you to act as a priest in a party if a pure priest cannot be found. Has good healing and good ressurection skills. Unfortunately you can do the killing in the party and need to focus on party survival unless you are great at doing some light killing and healing at the same time :)

PvP: This build and the Templar are very good in PvP. They don't have a huge amount of DPS but they can outlast most classes as they can absorb a ton of damage with MP Barrier and Magic Barrier and on top of that they can heal themselves making them immortal :) You can severely weaken opponents using Dispel on them and deleting their buffs and you have the ability to cast Reflection which makes you immune to enemy harmful effects and casts them back at them. If you are low on mana or your absorbtion buffs are out you can use the Teleport spell to buy you some time for a recast of them.

The recommended spell upgrades:
(Elf Healer Tree)

1. Heal-Level 5: Heals the Sega Saturn Accesoriess by 600% of Intelligence and 600% of Wisdom.
2. MP Recovery-Level 5: Increases the MP recovery speed of the target by 60% for 15 minutes.
3. Root-Level 1: For 4 seconds the target is unable to move.
4. Cure Confusion-Level 1: Cures the target of confusion.
5. Divine Aura-Level 1: Party only skill. When monsters become hostile, instantly resets the aggro value of the caster.
6. Cure Silence-Level 1: Cures target of Silence.
7. Magic Buff-Level 5: Increases the magical attack power of the target by 25% for How to Wood Carve minutes.
8. Group Heal-Level 5: Heals the entire party by 700% of Wisdom and 200% of Intelligence.
9. Reveal Hidden-Level 1: Hidden players and monsters in a radius of 12 will be revealed for 30 seconds.
10. Magic Barrier-Level 5: Absorbs physical damage 12 times the caster's Wisdom, lasts 60 seconds if not all damage is absorbed.
11. Teleport-Level 1: Instantly teleports 7 meters in the direction that the caster selects.
12. Resurrection-Level 1: Resurrects target of up to level 20 with 10% of HP.
13. Poison-Level 5: Deals 10 ticks of damage over time by 100% of Intelligence and 50% of Wisdom over 30 seconds.
14. Kill Time-Level 1: Causes the next skill cast to not have a recast time. Effective duration 15 minutes if unused.

The recommended spell upgrades:
(Elf Templar Tree)

1. Wisdom Buff-Level 5: Increases the Wisdom of the target by 15% for 30 minutes.
2. Reincarnation-Level 5: Resurrects target of up to level 100 with 75% HP and MP. Restores 70% of the experience lost.
3. Intelligence Buff-Level 5: Increases the Intelligence of the target by 15% for 30 minutes.
4. Rebirth-Level 1: If the caster dies within 30 seconds of using this skill, experience loss will not apply.
5. Absorb HP-Level 1: 3% of physical damage dealt is converted into HP.
6. Dispel-Level 5: Randomly removes 5 buffs from an enemy or 5 debuffs from a friendly target.
7. Holy Hammer-Level 5: Increases 1-handed hammer damage by 12% and attack speed by 60% for 30 minutes.
8. Party Absorb HP-Level 1: 2% of physical damage dealt is converted into HP for the entire party.
9. Reflection-Level 5: Harmful skill effects and debuffs are reflected back to the caster for 50 seconds.

13. Hammer Stun-Level 5: 1-handed hammer attack that damages 8 enemies in a radius of 14 meters and stuns for 6 seconds.
14. Final Crash-Level 5: Attack spell with damage equal to 800% of Wisdom.
15. AOE MP Drain-Level 5: Attack spell that damages the target and X enemies around it with 90% MP damage and does 14 times that amount as HP damage.
16. Cast Over-Level 1: The next skill used within 30 seconds can be cast instantly.
