Downloading Music to Your PSP is Easy

You've bought a new Sony Play Station Portable (PSP) and you haven't
the faintest idea how to get music files into the thing. Don't worry.
You're not the first one to wonder. Downloading music to your PSP is not
hard. Not hard at all. This short piece tells you how.

Downloading music to your PSP is a little pointless if the
files are not in a format your PSP can recognize and play. So make sure you are
either moving files such as mp3s from your PC to your PSP. If not, then you need
to download, install, and run CD music ripper programs. You can find them on the
Internet. After you convert your files to PSP format, your can begin.

Downloading music to your PSP takes around seven steps. You
will need a PC, your PSP, and a USB cable. You'll also need some music files to
transfer, but that's a given. Here we go.

01. Make sure you have a Memory Stick Duo, and then format this in your PSP
by following this menu trail: home/ settings/ system setting/ select open /
format memory stick / select.

02. Connect your USB cable to your PSP.

03. Go to settings menu and choose USB connect to allow your PC to identify your
PSP as an external drive.

04. Reboot your PSP after the drivers have finished loading.

05. Your PSP will show up on your PC as a removable disk. This will
happen after the reboot.

06. On your PC, open up the PSP drive. Find the Music folder.

07. Drag and drop music files from your PC into the PSP music
folder.

That's it. You now know enough on downloading music to your PSP.
Be sure to tell your friends about it and to swap music files with them
as well. Enjoy your favorite tunes!

Maximize the enjoyment you will get from your handheld console, just click PSP DOWNLOADS
